Alexus has passion and hustle and I’m really amazed at how productive she is at 18 years old. She is involved in three businesses right now and is working on getting her newest company off the ground. Like other teenpreneurs she found something she loves and is good at and is working on a way to turn it into a business! Go over and show her some love by taking a look at her Joan of Arc website. You will definitely learn a thing or two!
Hello! My name is Alexus McCoy, and I’m an entrepreneur. At first my brother and I ran my mother’s company F.B.I. (Forming Balloons Instinctively). But as my brother got older he didn’t want to be an entrepreneur and we both stopped. Now that I’m 18 I’ve decided to change that. I’m now successfully running three businesses and am working on my a startup.

F.B.I., J’s Vending, and Organo Gold are the what I do currently. F.B.I. has a balloon artist, a face painter and a mascot for all social events such as carnivals, fundraisers, or parties.
J’s Vending has vending machines set up in different local businesses in my area. I service them once a month with candy. The money I receive goes to Children’s Hospitals Pulmonary Clinic.
Another business I run is Organo Gold. It’s a great coffee business with gourmet coffee, tea and other drinks and products. I enjoy it because I get to give samples and meet new people. You can take a look at Oregano Gold if you would like to see what it’s all about.
Two years ago, I decided to take a class on auto mechanics. To be honest I, at the time, didn’t know how to find where the oil went let alone what the engine really did. When class started that first day I noticed two things: The classroom and that I was one of two girls in the whole class. My teacher would try very hard to say, “guys… and ladies” and we knew this wasn’t what most girls did. Since then I’ve learned so much and I love working on cars. And now I want to share that with my community.
So the biggest project that I’m working on right now is Joan of Arc. This is a unique woman owned and operated auto shop, one of the first of it’s kind. I love fixing things and I just started learning more about cars. I’ll be getting my certifications soon so that I can open my own shop. At the moment I have my Joan of Arc website where I blog about anything from tips and tricks to maintenance for cars.
I’m really excited to see what is going on over at The Teenpreneur. Having a conference like this is going to be a huge help to teen business owners!
