James and I originally connected through Twitter and I was just amazed and what he has accomplished and the business he is working on. I also think it’s pretty cool that it’s so easy to connect with a Teenpreneur all the way over in Ireland. Here is his story in his own words. I ordered my own Positivity Pack and can’t wait to get it!
Hi, my name is James Corneille. I’m a Teen Entrepreneur and I’m working on my startup, Positivity Pack. I have a background in tech and used that to help me with my startup. I’ve always wanted to start my own business from a young age. I love every thing about being an entrepreneur and I’m very passionate about the work I do!
Positivity Pack is the perfect chill-out kit after those horrible, rainy, hair-pulling, frustrating and unfortunate days. If there’s someone in your life right now that you think needs a bit of cheering up, you can do so right now by surprising them with a Positivity Pack, or even get one for yourself.
It’s like spreading the Friday feeling around, or kind of like surprising someone with flowers! Imagine being surprised with a pack of happiness.
You can send it anonymous or with your name, and add a custom message to the pack. Inside there are items such as Bubble Wrap, Notebook & Pencil, Smiley Stickers, Sweets, Happy Music Playlist, Confetti, De-Stress Guide, Tea Bag, and Balloons.
Prices start from 8 euro, with three different tiers with various items in each tier. My goals are to make it as successful as possible as I am very determined and passionate about what I’m doing, I really do love working on Positivity Pack.
The hardest challenge I’ve faced has been due to my age and the lack of contacts. I combated this with connecting with all my previous known contacts. Everyone knows someone, so I followed the path and eventually ended up connecting with some very helpful people! I sent emails off to companies, newspapers (etc.) and a few replied very enthusiastic with helping.
Right before writing this I was actually on iRadio to promote this startup! Before that Positivity Pack was on Newstalk FM, and other newspapers, magazines, blogs, online sites, radio stations, and people have been contacting me asking to help promote it.
All of the messages and emails I’ve received giving support and saying they love the startup, have been extremely inspiring. I’ve had a few sales, but I’ve only started advertising and marketing so hopefully the sales go up, and I’ll be able to invest more money into making it even better.
You can check it out at positivitypack.com.
Being in Ireland is going to prevent me from attending The Teenpreneur Conference this year but I wish I could join all of you! Having a place to meet other teen business owners, exchange ideas and support each other is something that I would love to be a part of someday. Have a great time! I can’t wait to hear all about it!
